Roman Baths
Country Flowers
As a child I was always interested in drawing and loved art classes at school where I constantly received praise and good marks. On leaving school at 15 I enrolled at Northampton Art College. However, National Service arrived and I decided to join the RAF for 5 years. When I left the RAF my parents had moved to Bath so I didn’t return to College. I worked in the offices of Clarks and then as an Antique Restorer but always kept an interest in art, undertaking a number of commissions for family and friends. I greatly admire the work of David Sheppard and enjoy painting African animals. On retirement I joint Art Groups in bath and enjoy the friendship and painting with friends. My grandson at 16, has shown an interest in art and proving very good which I love to see.
