Jane Riley

I starting painting in 1989 when I enrolled at evening class in London. Whilst living there I became a member of the Barnet Guild of Artists, and exhibited at their exhibitions. Since moving to Dolphin House in Batheaston near Bath , I now have my own studio and am kept busy painting commissions of local scenes, animals,houses and portraits.

I am a member of Bathampton Art Group where I have won the award for the public vote for their favourite painting three times. I also demonstrate at their twice yearly exhibitions.

I have enjoyed doing life drawing and portrait classes and paint in oils,watercolour and pastel. I run a small guest house “Dolphin House” with George,my husband, and visitors are always welcome to come and browse in my studio, where prints and cards of my work are always for sale,as well as original works.
